Microneedling for texture and scars

A patient receiving a microneedling facial

If your skin feels a little rough to the touch, or old acne has left marks that makeup cannot quite even out, microneedling is often the quiet workhorse that helps.

How it works

Microneedling uses a device with very fine needles to create tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin. Your body responds the way it would to any small repair: it produces fresh collagen and elastin. Over a series of sessions, that new collagen smooths texture, refines pores, and softens the depth of scars.

What it helps with

  • Rough or uneven texture
  • Enlarged-looking pores
  • Acne scarring and some other scars
  • Overall dullness

What to expect

Skin can look flushed for a day, a bit like a light sunburn, then settles quickly. Results build gradually across three to six sessions, so patience pays off here.

Pairing it well

Microneedling is a great foundation before other treatments because healthier skin responds better to everything else. Explore it alongside our other skin-rejuvenation treatments, or book a consultation to see if your skin is a good fit.
